Update for the Week of May 8th

  • DELTA has announced they will be upgrading Moodle early next week which will affect both the Moodle Outreach and Moodle Projects environments, causing periods of unavailability. According to DELTA’s announcements, we expect intermittent outages to the Moodle environments from 8am – 5pm on Monday, May 15th, Tuesday, May 16th, and Wednesday May 17th. The REPORTER Project Coordinators will be monitoring registration activity on instances connected to Moodle and work to correct any errors seen in the Moodle postings during this upgrade.
  • Release 3.17 of REPORTER was moved into Production Monday evening. This release includes a major update to the registration process, as well as additional production issue items. 
  • A Hotfix was moved into Production Wednesday evening to address an issue in which users who were automatically registered off the waitlist were being double charged for the cost of the course.
  • Release 3.18 was moved into Production Thursday evening. This release addresses Known Issues published with Release 3.17 as well as additional development items, including:
    • Mobile pages of REPORTER have been fully updated to reflect changes to the registration process
    • Added a column to display the reason submitted for the drop request
    • Now capturing the name of the person who approves or denies the drop request
    • Now capturing the name who submitted the drop request
    • Added an Export to Excel button that will allow you to export the drop history
    • Fixed the messaging for registering for an online fee based courses but paying as a ‘Pay Later’
    • Fixed menus on mobile version of REPORTER
    • Changed wording on Login pane to help distinguish between login types (Unity vs External)
  • New training opportunities for learning the REPORTER system are be developed and will be announced next week. If you are in need of training and no dates are available, you can contact us at reporter_support@ncsu.edu to request ad hoc training.
  • The next REPORTER Open Help session will be held from 9:30-11:30am on Tuesday, May 16th.
