Update for the week of September 11th

  • The REPORTER production environment was updated this week with the following changes:
    • Updated Sign-In sheets so all Unity users are marked as NCSU Participants (previously only included Faculty/Staff)
    • Clarified wording on Registration Confirmation email messages to indicate self registration vs being registered by someone else
    • Added the Instance Title to the subject line of the Registration Confirmation email message
    • Added an option for Course Admins to be notified when the system marks an instance inactive
    • Corrected an issue in which automated waitlists were not triggering if a seat opened through a transfer
    • Added the option to CC supervisors when emailing participants from the roster page
    • Updated the time on email templates in which the time was displaying incorrectly
    • Updated the Course Catalog on the mobile page to include the Register Now button for instances that have Quick Registration enabled and the Add to Waitlist button for instances that have a Waitlist configured
    • Added search fields to the My Orders section under My Account
    • Clarified wording on the Instance Full and Instance Nearing Capacity email templates
    • Added the registration timestamp on orders (previously only displayed the date)
  • OIT will be performing extended maintenance from 6am, September 30th through 6pm October 1st. This maintenance may affect services such as Shibboleth and WordPress which could temporarily prevent users from or logging in to REPORTER with their Unity ID or viewing the support site.
  • DELTA will be hosting a Blackboard representative to demo Blackboard Ally, an accessibility tool, at 10am on September 21st in CTI Suite 230. If you are interested in attending, please contact Lou Harrison.
  • New REPORTER training information has been posted at https://support.reporter.ncsu.edu/home/help/training/. Here, you can view new and upcoming training including dates for when new training will be offered.
  • The next REPORTER Open Help session will be held Wednesday, September 20th from 9:30-11:30am in Avent Ferry Technology Center, Room 108 and is also available remotely via Cisco WebEx. ¬†For more details and access information, please visit https://support.reporter.ncsu.edu/help-sessions/.
