Update for January 29th – February 8th

  • The REPORTER production environment was updated this week with the following changes:
    • Registration Updates:
      • Added a redirect to eliminate login steps for unity users going from REPORTER to  Moodle via the ‘Go to Course’ button
      • Corrected an issue that allowed participants to register for instances left in their cart after the registration end date
      • Added fields to the Account Create in the cart: Middle Name, Suffix
      • Change the subject of upcoming course reminder emails to further clarify it is a reminder; removed ‘starting soon’
      • Added prefix dropdown search options for prefixes ‘AOE’ and ‘CVM’ to the Course Catalog calendar
    • Course Management Updates:
      • Rework of Attendance to address multiple issues, please view the new help document covering attendance. Please note that we are seeing slowness in populating and searching in the attendance window. We are actively working to improve the speed within the application.
      • Added a setting to instances to ‘Track Daily Attendance’ for Course Admins/Instructors who wish to track the days on multi-day in-person instances separately. This setting must be selected on the Instance to give instructors the ability to track attendance daily.
      • Added post-course survey ability for instances. Course Admins can enter a link and email body that will send via email once a user is marked complete/pass for an instance.
      • Improved the Sign-In sheet, including adding additional details about the session
    • Financial Updates:
      • Added text on the payment processing screen letting participants know that the payment is processing to avoid duplicate payments postings from nelnet transactions
      • Added ability for 3rd parties to pay for orders, for details please see the help document: Pay Later as a Third Party Payee
      • Corrected an issue with order totals related to dropped courses on paid orders with multiple classes
      • Added ability for Financial Admins to save comments on the Payment Details page without posting a payment
      • Added Department ID column to the Transactions Details Financial Report
      • Added a Deposit Slip Number field for Check payment postings
    • Compliance Updates:
      • Made improvements to bulk import for Assigning participants to Requirements
      • Corrected issues with Compliance Status
      • Added functionality for archiving and copying a Compliance Requirement, enabling Compliance Liaisons to copy old requirements while archiving and giving the option to assign all users from the old requirement to the new one
      • Modified the “Registrants not Assigned” functionality for Compliance Admins to not include dropped orders
      • Added OUC search fields and an ‘Export/View More Detail’ option to the Registration Reports, the Manage Participants tab, and the Roster
      • Removed the 1000 row export limit from the Assign page and Compliance report
  • The REPORTER testing/QA environment was refreshed with a copy of Production environment data on 1/31/18. All data in QA from before this time was removed and replaced with a copy of the data in production.
