System Updates

  • The REPORTER Production environment will be updated this evening with the following functionality:
    • Improvements to Certificate Programs
    • Improved Catalog searching
      • Enhanced searching for both courses and programs
      • Added additional search fields to Advanced Search
      • Default search is now the Catalog tab (was previously called ‘Catalog (Beta)’)
      • Previous default course catalog is now the third tab, called Course View
    • Added the ability to create deeplinks including multiple keywords
    • Added search fields on Instance Roster
      • ‘Paid’ field to allow searching by paid status
      • ‘Final Attendance’ field to allow searching by attendance status
    • Changes to the Instance Financials tab
      • Now including cart add-on financial information
      • Added Login ID field for enhanced searching
    • Added a ‘Visibility’ column to course search page so Course Admins can see which courses are published/unpublished
    • Added ‘Active/Inactive’ search to Compliance by Participants report so Compliance Admins can filter out non-active assignments
    • Assignment notifications in Attention Required will now clear automatically once users are marked complete
    • Added a column to drop request history to show the date a request was approved/denied
    • Financial report updates
      • Fixed an issue with revenue project ids missing on some orders in the Transaction Details report
      • Fixed an issue with exporting financial information for cart add-ons
    • Added Drop Requested records in the Enrollment History report
    • Fixed an issue causing errors with changes to the legal name field

System Outages

  • DELTA staff will be applying updates on all NC State Moodle environments Saturday morning, November 3rd from 7am to 9am. There is expected to be a brief outage of 10-15 minutes during this window.
    • More details are available in the sysnews announcement
    • Please anticipate that some users may contact you with concerns about accessing online content connected to REPORTER registrations if they attempt to use Moodle during the maintenance period.
    • The REPORTER team will monitor any enrollment errors and follow up with users and course admins as needed
