Course Course Description
Fundamentals of REPORTER

(Course ID: OIT-REP-INTRO)

In this course, you will learn about basic and key REPORTER concepts, including its origin, purpose, and functionality. This online only training that provides an overview of what REPORTER is, does, and who uses it. This training does not contain any ‘how to use’ REPORTER information but fundamentals will provide admins a stronger foundation for using the system. (View Course Agenda)

It is recommended that you complete all content of this course prior to completing additional REPORTER training.

Using REPORTER as a Participant

(Course ID: OIT-REP-USER)

This online course will provide an overview of functionality in REPORTER that all users have; including overviews of the catalog and registration, participant profiles and activity reports, the participant dashboard, and more. This beginners course is taught from the perspective of a participant, but please keep in mind that users with @ncsu.edu email addresses have slightly different functionality than those without. REPORTER Course Admin Training

This self-paced, online training provides Course Admins a full overview of using REPORTER within their role. They will learn key concepts related to course management as well as learning how to create and manage their courses. (View Course Agenda)

Using Moodle with REPORTER

(Course ID: OIT-REP-MOODLE)

Learn how to connect your Moodle LMS content with the REPORTER registration system from the perspective of a Course Admin. This course will detail how to configure Moodle settings and what to put into your REPORTER instance to integrate the two. You will also learn how to manage these enrollments. (View Course Agenda)

Compliance and Required Training in REPORTER

In this training you will learn about compliance and assigning required training in REPORTER. This online course is taught from the perspective of a Compliance Admin and includes topics such as: What is a Requirement?, How do I register someone for a course?, How do I require someone to take a training or set of trainings?, How do I remove someone’s training requirement/unassign them?, and How do I pull reports related to Required Training?
