Supervisors and HR Representatives

In REPORTER, the My Team page will provide you with the Supervisor Dashboard which has several options including access to required training information associated with employees you supervise. If an NC State employee’s HR Job Data lists you in the “Reports to” field, you will automatically gain access to the My Team page in REPORTER. 

Job data used in REPORTER comes directly from the NC State HR Peoplesoft system and cannot be altered within REPORTER. However, departmental HR Representatives who need to perform training management in place of the Supervisor can be given the “Participant Liaison” role. The role requires an approved System Access Request and provides Supervisor-level access to all employees under a specific OUC –– click here for more about the Participant Liaison role and how it is requested.

About your Team List sections

From the ‘My Team’ tab, when you hit “Refresh” as demonstrated here,  the system will reload each team section per the following:
» Direct Reports: People with a job record that has you in the “Reports to” field. Uses Nightly data.
» Additional Team Members: Your direct report’s direct reports and so on to include all employees in your reporting chain. Uses Weekly Data.
» Team Members: Only for Participant Liaisons — includes people with a job record under the OUC you were provisioned. Uses Nightly data.
