REPORTER Upgrade: Scheduled Maintenance Sunday, June 28th.
The REPORTER application will be temporarily unavailable from 9:00am until approximately 10:00am this Sunday, June 28th. During this time, REPORTER will be updated to a more recent version of the Mendix Platform. The changes included with this update are primarily cosmetic (visual changes in formatting, buttons, colors, etc) and should present very little change in functionality at this time. To preview the platform upgrade, NC State users can log in using their Unity ID at go.ncsu.edu/reporterqa.
- The following changes were applied during recent updates to the REPORTER production environment:
- Updates to the Safari browser are causing delays with payments posting back to REPORTER from our payment processor. While we are working on a more permanent solution, we have temporarily added the following message on the checkout page for customers using Safari:
- Please note: Using the Safari web browser to pay will result in a delay in your payment posting back to your order. We are actively working on this issue and are posting payments several times a day. You will receive an order confirmation and a payment receipt via email once your payment has been posted. If you are registering for an online course, please note that your content will not be available until your payment is posted.
- We are now sending the REPORTER instance number to Moodle with registration requests and receiving it back with completion requests. More information about this increased functionality will be shared next week, including relevant help documentation, best practices for integration, and details about the changes.
- Campus Guest Accounts/External accounts have been renamed to Brickyard accounts to bring consistency to non-unity logins across campus systems. These changes were only included visual updates to login buttons across the following campus systems: MyPack portal, REPORTER, Moodle Outreach, Moodle Projects, and Shibboleth.
