REPORTER Release 8 Details and Documentation

In addition to minor visual changes throughout the system, this upcoming release will include significant updates to the layout of both Course Setup and Instance Setup. It is important to note that these changes are visual and do not include any changes to functionality.  With these updates, we’ve pulled the sections of the setup out into left side menu items to eliminate the need for continuous scrolling, grouped required fields and better organized the set up of both the course and instance fields.

 This Friday evening, September 9th, we will be updating REPORTER with our latest development.   In addition to minor visual changes throughout the system, this upcoming release will include significant updates to the layout of both Course Setup and Instance Setup. It is important to note that these changes are visual and do not include any changes to functionality.  With these updates, we’ve pulled the sections of the setup out into left side menu items to eliminate the need for continuous scrolling, grouped required fields and better organized the set up of both the course and instance fields.   Please see the details and resources included below and reach out to REPORTER Support at reporter_support@ncsu.edu if you have any questions or concerns. Learn about the changes:

1). Log into a test environment (go.ncsu.edu/reporterQA) using your Unity Id and password and explore the changes under Course and Instance setup

2). Attend a Zoom session to see a demo of the changes (Register in REPORTER here)

3). Review updated support documentationPlease note that we are still working to complete the necessary documentation updates for this release and this page will be updated as documents are completed.  After go live, these documents will be added on the Course Admin support page.
